Is there a particular pattern to follow with your cards ( start with Green,or Red, or does it matter)?

It doesn’t matter, Henry. Some people pick out 4-5 cards and focus on them. Some randomly pick out a card and do whatever the card says.

If you’re inexperienced, I’d pick out all of the green ones and focus on them.

If you are in an area that you can’t make dark, I’d either do the full-light equivalent of the low-light cards or pick another card when you get one of those.

I generally do 5-15 minutes of dry fire practice per day, but I only do as much as I can while keeping perfect form. I don’t want to build any bad neural pathways, so I avoid doing sloppy practice, simply for the sake of practicing.

I also own a SIRT hand gun, do you have any suggestions on, how to make a Dry Fire Log book which a SIRT could be used? I have never used a log book and basically I am clueless on even creating one or how it works.

    Thanks Mark

A lot of shooters who I respect use dry fire logs. I have training logs. I kind of use them, but I don’t feel like I use them regularly or effectively enough to share what I do.

The main logs that I keep are my DOPE books for my 7.62s, and that’s mainly to keep track of loads and holds.

They look awesome, but I haven’t bought one because I haven’t wanted to buy 2-3 so I could do reloads.

I am buying snap caps for dry firing practice. Ideally, how many of these do you recommend.

I’d get at least 3-5. Remember that most of your training can be done on a dead trigger (no click). Also, you might want to look into the training barrel from BladeTech or the barrel plug from MAKO / FAB Defense.
