SIRT & LaserLyte giveaway

Ox here…Laser training has taken the shooting world by storm in the last few years, and for good reason…it’s fun, affordable, and effective, and my favorite laser trainer is the SIRT from Next Level Training.

It’s an awesome training tool and I do a LOT of my dry fire practice with a SIRT laser training pistol.

Since it’s not a firearm, I can safely leave it out in the living room and on my desk at my office 24/7 and take a few seconds to practice whenever the urge hits me.  These micro-practice sessions add up to hundreds, if not thousands of additional reps per month.

Today, I want to show you a REALLY quick video of the SIRT and my favorite laser-reactive targets, tell you how you can get a SIRT and a set of these for yourself for free, AND one of my favorite non-reactive laser targets that’s free and will give you visual feedback when shooting targets from up to 100 yards away.

How you can get one for free..simply buy ANYTHING from us between now and 1159PST this Sunday and you’ll be entered for the giveaway!

First, one of the best ways to learn a skill is to learn head knowledge about the skill (like in a classroom), watch someone demonstrate the skill, and then immediately go through the motions and try to mirror what they’re doing.  Amazingly enough, this has never been done in the history of VHS/DVD firearms training UNTIL the Concealed Carry Masters Course!

Concealed Carry Masters Course uses this, and more than a dozen other accelerated learning techniques to help you master concealed carry techniques affordably in the comfort and privacy of your own home.  Click >HERE< for special Christmas packages.

Next, from one of the rare Spec Ops instructors who’s still going downrange and who also offers training to the general public, we’ve got Chris Graham’s 30-10 Pistol Home Training Course.  You’ll learn some of the exact same material that’s been taught/used downrange by Chris or his high-speed students in the last few weeks.  This isn’t training that worked 5-10 years ago, it’s training that’s working RIGHT NOW.

Learn more, and take advantage of new material and a bonus DVD by clicking >HERE< now.

One of the best ways to avoid the turkeys who are acting like turds is with Situational Awareness (SA).

We’re in a time where things can go from calm to emergency in an instant and the more you can be tuned into your environment and the earlier you can identify and respond to what’s going on, the better.

SA is the ultimate “Black Ops” skill for those times when you’re not kitted up in a stack and ready to make entry.  It’s the skill that will allow you to gain an advantage over an attacker and interrupt their plan or identify and avoid conflict altogether.

You may be good to go, but the Avoid Deter Defend SEAL Threat Detection Course is one of the best tools you can give your non-tactical friends and loved ones (from ages 8-88) that will help them identify and avoid conflict.  It’s the best way to protect them when you’re not around.  Learn more now by going >HERE

FREE SIRT laser targets…I told you that I’d tell you my favorite free laser target.  It’s old discarded license plates.  They’re designed to reflect light from multiple directions and I’ve found them to be GREAT targets when I’m practicing with my SIRT from 10-100 yards away.  I fold them in half, make a tee-pee out of them, and leave them out all year.  As an added bonus, they make great airsoft targets too.

Looks like a lot of fun. SIRT beats the hell out of cheap airsoft pistols, both in accuracy and noise control. (Airsoft will wake up sleeping family members.) I’m in yet another conundrum! I need to buy more solar to be self-sufficient -when- (not if) the grid goes down. But I’ll need the continued pistol skills to keep them, so I need a SIRT pistol for practice (of which I don’t get enough). So, were we automatically entered in the SIRT drawing when we clicked on the image, or is there something else to do? There is no mention on this page.

Not trying to be disrespectful…but what good will your course do me if I can’t even GET a concealed carry permit in LA, CA?

Shouldn’t your Step One be to research, *test,* publish, and sell a guide to “How to Get a CCW in Your Progressive City and State!”

Do your course/books help with that?

I appreciate your plight and how helpless you must feel, but I respectfully disagree with you. There’s a little tough love here…

To start with, I may not be able to help you. A helpless, victim, blaming thought process, like what I’m reading in your comment, pretty much short circuits any and all self-defense training that ever has or ever will exist. As an example, it kept you from seeing the reality of what was right in front of you.

      a. The video is about a laser trainer and laser reactive targets. These will work with or without a concealed carry permit.
      b. Dry fire training cards work regardless of whether or not you have a concealed carry permit.
      c. 30-10 Pistol works regardless of whether or not you have a concealed carry permit.
      d. The SEAL Threat Detection course works regardless of whether or not you even have a gun.
      e. 95% of the Concealed Carry Masters Course will help you for home defense, even if you never carry concealed.

In other words, you created a problem/obstacle that didn’t exist in reality. It was self-imposed. Everything on this page can help you…even if you can’t get a concealed carry permit. And, instead of seeing the opportunity that existed, you blamed me for not creating a guide to compensate for how you have chosen to feel about where you live. I know that’s mean and I don’t understand your situation, but stick with me…

We have moved 3x to migrate from areas that had become overly progressive to places where we could have more freedom…it’s a pain, but at some point you have to decide to be happy where you are or pick up stakes and move.

If it’s incredibly important to you to stay in LA and get a permit, then you might want to do what others have done (check and make sure it’s legal) and rent a place in one of the counties where there is a reasonable CLEO who will sign off on your permit. I have no idea if that’s legal or if it will work for you, but it’s an example of the kind of solutions that people come up with when they refuse to be a victim and actively seek out opportunities.

This sounds like just the thing I need. Living in Cal. it is almost impossible to get to a range. And this state has made it hard to get the training that is needed to carry a hand gun. But as everyone knows there has never been a time that someone should carry. The …holes are on every corner. And this time of the year is really bad. I’am a retired police officer from the L.A. area and I and most of my friends stay in CONDITION YELLOW. It’s just a sing of the times. Mt grill friend is a retired teacher and has never handled a gun and this would be the practice tool.

A SIRT is an outstanding way to train to EDC a Glock. Range time is important too, but with a SIRT, you have no excuse not to practice your draw and trigger press when a 10 minute window of time opens up. These LaserLyte reactive cans will help my family actually enjoy dry fire practice, which can be, admittedly, a bit ‘dry.’

Training is always important, even when we think we’ve had enough, it is wise to continue to train! My wife and family are always looking for new ways to train without having to pack up the range bags and head out in questionable weather to accomplish our goals. This SIRT training appears to be the best way to accomplish our goals!

Great practice tool & saves a lot of Ammo
This Sirt system would be good and safe around my grandchildren. So much so that they could practice too. With adult supervision of course.

Their are a lot of practice drills I would be able to do. For example, drawing from my holster, lying on the ground, close draws, shooting from cover etc.

The only draw back is reloading practice but I could practice with snap caps.

Wow, to shoot up to 100 yards with the Sirt System would be awesome. It would be like shooting at both the indoor and outdoor range.

I’ve always wanted the dry shooting cards and some kind of formal training like the Seal system.

I know this Sirt system will be enjoyed by the whole family, including my wife.

As an instructor and a Chapter co-leader with The Well Armed Woman Shooting Chapters, I think this would be an excellent teaching tool and well worth looking into- I already have a lazer lite that goes in the chamber of my gun for my personal dry -fire practice. I can see this adding a fun element to the whole process!

Awesome on what you’re doing with Well Armed Woman! It’s a great organization and I truly believe that women are the future of shooting. Ignorant woman will continue to lead the fight to ban civilian ownership of guns and women who are interested in taking responsibility for their own safety will continue to lead the fight to preserve civilian ownership of guns. In addition, women have an unfair (in my lowly, humble, male opinion :) amount of influence on how husbands/kids spend their time and money. Women in WAW not only get involved in shooting, but they buy their husbands & kids guns, gear, and support their decision to shoot, practice, and/or compete.

There are a few big advantages of the SIRT over a laser that goes in your chamber…especially in a classroom.

The biggest is that there is no way to have a negligent discharge with the SIRT.
You can preserve the rule of “all firearms must be holstered or encased” in the classroom.
You can/should point the SIRT at other people, but shouldn’t point a real pistol with a laser cartridge at other people.

      Hope that helps :)
